We have been in the antiques business since 1960 when Stephane Grusenmeyer started a small flea-market style shop when he was 18. Later-on he became president of the Guild of Flemish Antiquairs. In those plus 45 years he developed an eclectic taste and traded Flemish  old-master Paintings, Haute-epoque, Antiquities, Pre-Columbian art, Tribal Art and Oriental Art. He is now retired and lives in Bangkok, but continues to inspire his children.

NV Antiquair Grusenmeyer K is a member of of the Koninklijke Kamer van Antiquairs and before Stephanie Grusenmeyer and Pieter Compernol moved their Gallery from Antwerp to Bangkok, two years ago, they were members of De Stichting Antiquairs Antwerpen v.z.w.

Grusenmeyer & Grusenmeyer specialises in exquisite sculpture and objects of beauty and high-quality Chinese furniture (18th and 19th century).
We advise collectors and assist interior designers and decorators.

We have participated at numerous antiques fairs, national (Beaux Arts Brussels, Eurantica Brussels, Eurantica Antwerp) as well as international (TEFAF Maastricht/Olympia London/ KAOS le tour de monde, Paris). Please check the portofolio section for images of these events.

All our items come with certificates of authenticity and - as their origins are often exotic - additional information (check our guarantee section).
